Learn About Us
Tuesday of California was founded 2015 in Los Angeles, California by designer Tuesday Bassen. We remain an independent, family run brand and are proud to produce sizes XXS-7X.
We are now based in Berlin, Germany and ship from our headquarters in the lovely Mitte (middle!) neighborhood.
We prioritize ethical production, size inclusivity, sustainability, and excellent tailoring. We are proud to now use only European Union made compontents, with an emphasis on as many local materials as we can source. Our pieces are sewn locally, in Berlin, Germany.
We make everything to order at ToC for a few reasons: to combat waste, to be as size inclusive as possible, and to keep costs lower for you! Our pieces are up for preorder for one week at a time. After the preorder period, we make pieces with our small sewing workshops. Production can take from one to 3 months depending on complexity and our sewist's schedule.
As of spring 2025, our clothes are made in and shipped from Berlin, Germany.
We produce our clothing in fair pay factories, favoring small local workshops. We only produce in safe working environments.
Starting 2025, our clothes are all made in Europe and especially in our new home, Berlin!
We only source materials that are fairly made in the European Union. From new production to Deadstock, we include all information about materials on individual listings. If the fabric has a specific certification like BCI or OEKO-TEX 100, we'll put that on the listing too!
We produce sizes XXS-7X! We spend extra time to get the fit just right across our entire spectrum. Our size chart is on each listing, but please note that these are reflective of American sizing and to cross reference for UK and EU sizing. Our Size Chart can be seen here.
